JETS-Junior Engineering Technological Society

Newspaper/Photo Club

This club focuses on journalism and photography. Students produce the school newspaper and distribute it throughout the year.
Literary Magazine

St. Mark Ambassadors go to St. Mark School during lunch to help with the elementary school kids and play with them at recess. The kids refer to the St. Mark Ambassadors as "Big People". |
Knitting Club

Class Council
Grades 9, 10, 11, 12 have a class council that is elected by the students in each class. This group is active in the school particularly in their grade.
Student Government

All students are welcome to join student government. Students facilitate three projects throughout the year; one for the school, one for the club, and one for the community. Past projects have included fundraising, polishing and displaying school trophies, conducting mock elections during the presidential election, and Operation Troop Support (collecting new personal items for troops overseas).
Community Service

Community service is required for graduation, and begins the first year that a student begins their education at St. Joe.
Green Team Ambassador

Green Team Ambassadors encourage being environmentally friendly through recycling and green projects.
Senior Ambassador

Senior Ambassadors are matched up with two or three eighth graders and meet four times throughout the year to talk about the transition into St. Joe's and offer guidance.

Pigskin Classic

This is an annual event where 5th-8th grade girls play a game of flag football, and the boys cheer. Students are taught by the high school level athletes. All proceeds of this major event go to charity.
Leadership Council

Provides opportunities for students within the school and surrounding communities to demonstrate leadership. Last year students worked with the District Attorney to promote internet safety.
Model Congress

Set up like a small congress, students compete at American International College with drafted bills and attempt to get their legislation passed.
Pre-Professional Club
This is a club for students interested in pre-professional careers like Medicine, Dental, Pharmacy, Optometry, and Veterinary programs. This club has visited several places of interest including a Large Animal Veterinary Clinic and Hospitals.
Quiz Team

An academically rigorous group, these students compete against other Berkshire County Quiz teams in a variety of academic topics. Students also participate in televised matches on the local program As Schools Match Wits.
Spring Musical

Every year students act, sing and put on their best costume for the school musical. A large number of students partake, and it is open to all grades, all ability levels and is performed for the public. |
